  2. i bought it for ca 400eur, it was 2 years ago and car was in good order with TÜV and so and i am third owner in estonia, after six months i decieded to resprey it, also left still must be replaced (right side was exellent), all works i made myself (except welding), car was originally dark blue ( if you see this artcle in wikipedia, this is my car before respreing, and i dont know who put this thing in wiki ). so, with all the things: car + respray + materials + all the expluatiton durig 2 years (15t km per year)- my own work = 1500eur max, so its cheap car to run (ok i am working in spareparts business also). mybe its crime to drive this kind of rarity all year long, but i like it and car must drive and its not for sale
  3. i am visited this forum long ago, and in this tread are some new posts, but i dont understand a word of it, so have you any new info about my car. some pictures with roofrack and rear spoiler: i have send email to volvo museum, but no reply
  4. for refreshing my topic again, I and my friend have looking for info about this car in england, sweden and finland forums, but there are no results, nobody knows nothing about 3 door car. I cant accept, that this is one of the kind and the only car in the world, but someone must no about this, there are peoples who had heard rumors that this kind of car exist, but nothing to confermed it. let me know, its a little odd to use car every day (like I do)that never existed.
  5. maybe the 242 side because its easyer to enter and one exit to badguys less and also maybe the central locking was to much of science for police (usually here, in my homeland 50% of policemen work for police because they cant manage any job, their IQ is to low :) )Anybody who finds out the real reason or can give some info about these cars, finds even any picture ecxept my car, can get sixpack of virtual beers from me (even realones, if finder will be in estonia).
  6. only i know for sure these cars where made for sweden police, first owner in estonia also told me that it was police car in sweden, also i have been told that it was made in volvo factory but separetly from assebly line and welded by hand using 242 and 244 parts, so its not been made form 244, its made originally 243,if its true nobody knows, also the door trim is different in left and right.the fact is that it was made for swedish police

  8. my car is from 1987 and as i know its made in sweden in special workshop, full vin i can post tomorrow but by that its 244, as i know its made with 3doors at start by hand like limos, its from sweden and came to estonia 1996, it has no spetcial features (recaro i put there myself), engine in b200k, no power anything. This wikipedia article is yoke with picture of my car (who put it there, i dont know.Since 1990 there was very small numbers on wester cars in estonia (thanks to soviet occupation, was even forbbitten to buy cars exept soviet whitch you also cant buy these times because of waiting lists ca 15 years to buy a lada). About this limo here, this is not bertone but original volvo limo, one picture (yet with swedish numbers, and flags) pilt 034

Hello, i must say that this three door car is mine, as i have been told it was police car.dark blue in original colour (as you see in my oldcars rally pictures) and birght blue is after i respreying it.i got this car a year ago and i am third owner in estonia since 1996.as i know these car made only for police ca 27 units, anybody knows more tell me know, i havent seen more.as i dont speak your language but seems to me that you are talking someting about 264t also, there in one limo in estonia too driven by king himself IMGP4850
