Oi oi oi.. Høres bra ut Momo.. Alltid plass til flere driftingbiler..

 

Eneste jeg har lyst på er litt mer "normale" biler.. Som f.eks 200/700/900/300, og f.eks Sierra/Scorpio, Golf1 etc...

Forza 2 har omfattende ombygningsmuligheter nå. Jeg har troa på at man kan bygge bila slik man vil, men vi får se. Det skal jo gå ann å bygge om til rwd fwd 4x4 uansett hva slags bil det er (Ikke offisiellt, mener jeg leste det et sted.. såå). Det gir jo oss drifting folk full valgfrihet i morsomme biler!

 

Kanskje jeg skal bygge meg en grønn og sinna 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX GT , Norris style :D

Man kan kun bytte motor og drivverk fra biler fra samme leverandør. Mitsubishi f.eks har ingen RWD biler(utenom GT-klasser) og kan derfor ikke bli RWD. Man kan da heller ikke sette en Toyota motor i en Nissan. Det har blitt bekreftet i presentasjoner som har blitt vist. Antall motorer/drivverk er også ganske begrenset(2-3 stk på noen biler så vidt jeg har sett).

Multiplayer blir vanvittig morro! Spesiellt med den veldig realistiske skademodellen, som gjør at folk faktisk må kjøre ordentlig for å vinne, å ikke kræsje inn i hverandre å kjøre tulling. Denne realismen vil gjøre det spesiellt spennende for oss som har tenkt å drifte!

"but then it dawned on us. The audio stream, which went from a mild grinding/wheezing to a full-blown metal rake on chalkboard sensation was actually the sound of Rob's failing transmission, which sounded like it was basically comitting suicide every time it tried to change gears"

 

De har brukt MYE resurser på å bla få veldig realistisk lyd..

 

"The problem with recording the sound of damage is that, well... you're sort of required to actually damage stuff in order to get an accurate representation. I've been on plenty of trips with the audio team, including collision sounds (yup, we crashed cars for 3 days and destroyed lots of carbon fiber)"

"renting cars and drifted the crap out of them for tire skid audio, and visited a turbo factory to isolate the sound of boost."

 

"Our audio content coordinator Mark Price (the guy who records all of our engine sounds on the dyno) decided to wire up his car and take sound designer Mike Caviezel for a ride in his beater first-gen Acura Integra. Then while rolling through town, Mark repeatedly threw the car into third gear without disengaging the clutch. The sound they captured was so disturbing, so soul-crushingly wrong, that some on the audio team felt it was almost too unpleasant to use in a videogame. But (un)luckily for the rest of us, the transmission damage audio did make it into the game. "

 

Hvorfor dette blir tidenes beste bilspill

Noen fakta om auksjonsdelen:

 

* Create online auctions and sell your customized rides for big bucks. Dictate the terms of your sale by setting price, length of auction, instant buyout amount… even spend a little cash to mark your auction as a “featured” sale!

* Bid and outbid others for the hottest cars on the market. Since no two cars are alike, even the most common vehicles have unique value and worth.

* Auction House gives both car tuning experts and adept livery painters purpose as they can now build up in-game wealth through selling their masterpieces online.

* The ability to hide car setups online turns tuning into a hot commodity.

* The ability to lock paintjobs to their respective cars makes these customized cars truly one-of-a-kind.

* Every vehicle comes with exhaustive car history data, including total distance and time driven, total winnings, total cost of repairs, number of races, number of owners, number of times sold, and more.

* Every vehicle sold will also come with all its extra (and stock) parts in the trunk.

 

Kjøp biler med historieheftet! Lås lakkjobben så de ikke kan endre på bilen, GJEM tuning og setup så de ikke kan se hemmeligheten bak dine suksessbiler... konge!

 

Turneringer

 

 

"Q: So can you explain how these tournaments work?

 

BG: Each tournament will have a two-day qualifying period. In those 2 days players can go to the tournament select screen and choose a tournament to qualify for. Really, this is similar to a Time Trial and/or Free Run time attack. Players will be shown the Qualification Bar needed to make it into the tournament. This bar is set by the players themselves based on how many people are allowed in the tournament. If a tournament will only allow 128 players in, then the player with the 128th fastest time is that qualifying bar. Players can qualify as much as they want before the cut-off point."

 

Altså, velg turnering. Man har to dager på seg til å kvalifisere til den turneringen ved å sette en god tid. Videre vil du få beskjed når "finalene" kjøres..

 

"BG: Yeah, the great thing about Forza 2's tourney system is that everything is automated and we control it with an admin tool here behind-the-scenes. One nifty feature we've included for all this interaction with Tournaments and Auctions is a notification and inbox system all within the game. This notification system essentially helps you get to your tournament race on time. We track your gamertag while you play Forza Motorsport 2 and you'll receive messages in the menu system telling you that you have either 15, 10 or 5 minutes to get to you tournament race before it begins. If you open the message it will automatically take you to the tournaments screen from whichever menu you're currently sitting at."

 

Turneringene blir nok rimelig hardcore..

"When the game hits retail in May, we'll have 12 weekly tournaments active, with at least one for every car class. The non-race classes will be split into three groups so overall you will see 24 tournaments on the tournament select screen. We designed the faster classes (S, U, R1,R2,R3,R4) to start on the weekends as we felt the best racing action will come from those classes. We are also opening up the player limit to those weekend starting tournaments to allow more people. "

 

..og det er ikke bare ingame penger og fame man kan vinne..

BG: Yes, we will be doing some really cool things with sponsored and community driven tournaments. "

 

Multiplayer og Community satser de hardt på:

Og det vil si..

Forza kommer med en full replay funksjon både off og online + at de har et gromt Photo Mode. Man har et ingame album og kan sende bilder til andre spillere..

Apropos turneringene.. klarte du ikke kvalifisere deg? Da kan du se verdenseliten kjempe på Forza TV.

 

"Forza TV is completely integrated into the tournament system. If a tournament is currently running, you have the option of going into the bracket and watching the action in real-time."

 

 

Og med Forza's velkjente meget nøyaktige fysikkmotor lagd ENDA bedre i 2eren, kan jeg ikke skjønne at dette blir annet enn tidenes beste bilspill. Og det vil det være lenge!

Har det gamle, men har 360 nå,på 360 er ikke Forza 1 like bra som på original X-box'n. savner TURBO suset fra Forza 1 :)
