Bruker et kjøretøy. Har lagt inn nå, og starter spillet så går jeg til en Orange Scania. Jeg får til å kjøre osv, men ikke å bruke lift osv...

Keyboard: 

======ANY MODE=====
Quit : Esc
C: camera mode
Move camera: keypad keys 2, 8, 4, 6, 9, 3, 5 or use the "Point of view" button of your joystick if you have one

Under Caelum skies, you can set the time of the day by pressing the "+" and "-" keys of your keypad.

You can use the mouse pointer to move trucks around: click on one end of a truck and drag it.

======CHARACTER MODE=====
UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT: move character
SHIFT+UP: run
SPACE: jump over obstacle

***To enter and to leave a truck, press "ENTER"***

======TRUCK/CAR MODE=====
main commands are indicated on the dashboard.
Ignition: X
Starter: S
UP/DOWN: accelerate/brake
LEFT/RIGHT: turn
PAGE UP/PAGE DOWN: autoshift selector
Q (or A on french keyboard): switch auto/manual shift mode
A (or Q on french keyboard): manually shift up
Z (or W on french keyboard): manually shift down
Hydraulics (on some trucks): Function keys (F1, F2, ... F12)
On some trucks you can grab things with 'L' and secure loads with 'O'
Show map: TAB
K: skeleton view
P: parking brake
F: statistics
H: horn
N: lights
M: flashing lights (if available) (on AZERTY keyboard, the key at the right of 'N', e.g. ',' on french keyboard)
J: replay (use the left and right arrows to move in the replay)
I: reinitialize truck position
R: jump to rescue truck

======AIRPLANE MODE=====
main commands are indicated on the dashboard.
Engine start/stop: click on the "ON" buttons
PAGE UP/PAGE DOWN: throtle
R: Toggle reverse thrust
UP/DOWN, LEFT/RIGHT: control aircraft (available only in keyboard only mode)
Z/X: control rudder
1: Flaps up (1 notch)
2: Flaps down (1 notch)
I: reinitialize airplane position
B: brakes
P: parking brakes
F1/F2: close/open cargo bay
F3/F4: retract/extract gear (keep the key pressed until locked)
O: secure cargo
M: toggle lights

Operation of the airplane: see any good flying manual.
Flaps should be put a bit down for takeoff and even more on landings.
The key for successfull landings is stabilized approaches. The key for successfull landings is stabilized approaches.
Cargo loading: only the Tatra can fit in the cargo hold. It must be parked at the back of the hold and secured there (O).
Do not park the truck at the front end of the hold or you'll have a wrong center of gravity and crash at the end of the runway.

Special instructions for the "6x6 crane flatbed with crates" green truck:
This truck has a knuckleboom crane, controlled by function keys F1...F10.
To unfold the crane, use F4, then F6 and F8.
Use F1 and F2 to rotate the crane. Rotation can be tricky, use momentum and waddle to go in the right direction.
To load a crate, first deploy the crane legs with F12 until it reaches the ground.
Then, put the extremity of the crane in close contact with the center of the cross on top of a crate.
Press "L" to lock the crate. The cross center should be gripped to the crane. If not, move closer and try again (change the point of view to be sure where you are).
Pull the arm up (F4 and F6).
Place the crate on the back of the truck. Avoid balancing movements. You must be sure you cleared the sides of the truck.
Once the crate positionned, press "L" again to unlock the crane.
Stow the crane (F4, F7+F5+F1, F3).
Stow the crane legs (F11).
Now you can roam with the crate loaded.
Trick : press "L" while the crane and the legs are stowed to lock the crane on the leg. This avoids breaking the crane in case of accident.

Note that the collision system is still in development, so :
-only the back of the truck is collisionnable with the crate
-Only point-polygon collision are implemented. This means that objects will interpenetrate in case of edge-polygon or edge-edge collision.

Jeg skjønner fortsatt ikke hvordan man heiser opp kasser og sånn...

Jeg skjønner fortsatt ikke hvordan man heiser opp kasser og sånn...

 

Du får ikke heisa opp kasser, containere etc. med den oransje Scaniaen - det er en redningsbil som du kan taue andre biler med. For å kjøre andre biler må du gå inn i bua ved siden av "lastebil-sjappa", da får du opp en meny hvor du kan velge hvilken bil du vil kjøre.

Dere som ikke får ting til osv, les gjennom README fila som følger med spillet, der står det meste! Slick postet deler av den ista, og her kommer litt til:

 

There is no real goal in this game yet, just the pleasure to drive around!

You can race against the clock on circuits: pass under a "start/finish" checkpoint

to start the clock then pass under all the checkpoints until you return to the

starting point.

Circuits are hard to complete in one piece, so be prudent at first!

 

Things you can do:

-Buy a truck: go into the "office" section of the "Rigs-a-deal" truck dealer,

select your truck and you are set.

-Repair a truck: park the damaged truck inside the "Rod's" garage (the truck

must be alone inside, without loads), then go into the office of the garage until

you hear a gong. Return into the garage, the truck is repaired.

-Edit a truck: go into the "Truck design lab" to launch the truck editor

(you can also launch it by pressing Y). See below how the editor works.
