Legal tuning

Hello!

I hope this is the right place to look for an answer. If not I'm really sorry for messing around :)

The thing is. I have an idea for a Opel Omega project. The thing I want to do is swap the engine from V12 or V8 BMW, depends on manual gearbox availability.

Tirck is to make this car road legal here in Norway.

Expected engine power is ~300KM, now is 136 from 16V 2.0 engine :)

Where should I start? Is there a place I can get some information what needs to be done around the car beside engine swap?

So all that mighty tuning projects in Norway are just to lock them in garages?

If you want to have a street legal car with a licence plate then you have to follow the rules set by Statens Vegvesen. That's why you should ask them first, then they might (ought to) help you on your way. This regarding which other things you need to do (brakes etc.) to get this engine swap approved.
