Hi my name is micaela and I am the mother of Jesse,the little guy in holland.

I cant get over the fact that all of you are taking the trouble to let us over here know what and how you feel about this. Jesse is watching the dvd that my neighbour made at least 3 times a day,he just can't get over it. He had such a good time,just like his other 2 brothers.

When I placed my call on the forum,I had no idea that it would turn out to something as big as this. Yes.........I cried a lot of times during the day. That all those people did this for my child,a boy they had never seen before. It still brings tears in my eyes,And with me a lot of other people too. A lot of newspapers down here wrote about it,for us it is a life time memorie,one that really made Jesse's day. Thank you all for caring

Hun håpet en eller annen kunne ta sønnen hennes med på en kjøretur, i en (merk: en) Subaru. Det kom over 150....:)

Hørtes ut som BS først, minte litt for mye om en sentimental truckerlåt av Red Sovine, "Teddy Bear" om en traailersjåfør som snakker på radioen med en gutt som er lam og har mista faren sin i en ulykke, gutten har bare ett ønske i verden, å få sitte på med en 18-hjuling igjen..

Why, I guess every driver for miles around had caught Teddy Bear's call

And that little crippled boy was having a ball

For as fast as one driver would carry him in

Another would carry him to his truck and take off again

 

Well, you better believe I took my turn at riding Teddy Bear

And then I carried him back in and put him down in his chair

And buddy if I never live to see happiness again

I want you to know I saw it that day, in the face of that little man

 

We took up a collection for him before his mama got home

And each driver said goodbye and then they all were gone

He shook my hand with a mile-long grin

And said: "So long, trucker I'll catch ya again!"
