Snart kommer et av de spilla jeg har sett mest fram til; Toca Race driver 3.

Her er hvorfor dette spillet kommer til å eie

 

Nok å gjøre - "TOCA Race Driver 2006, then, is a mammoth undertaking by comparison, featuring no fewer than 35 different styles of racing spanning some 160 championships. The 35 racing styles in TOCA Race Driver 2006 will be organized into six "spokes"--touring, GT, classic, open-wheel, oval, and rally and off-road"

Her er stort sett all mulig racing med, alt fra monstertrucker til formel1.

Man kan starte en karriere i hvilken som helst av de 6 "gruppene". Og må jobbe deg oppover fra bånn til topp. Velger du Open wheel for eksempel begynner du med go cart og ender (kanskje) i en formel1 bil.

 

Bilene - "TOCA Race Driver 2006 will feature more than 80 different cars in total"

 

Fysikk - Det er her spillet imponerer mest:

"Race-ending crashes will be possible, engines will blow if you thrash them too much, and your vehicle's airflow characteristics will change with every dent you add to the bodywork."

 

Har du alltid vært skuffa over kollisjonene i bilspill? Noen spill har prøvd å gi bilene "realistiske" skader, men ikke helt fått det til (akkurat som realistisk dekkrøyk, når får vi se det?) men HER tør jeg si kræsjene ser ganske realistiske ut, her er noen in-game-screenshots (tror jeg kommer til å bruke første timen i spillet kun til å prøve å lage det største vraket)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Banene - "TOCA Race Driver 2006 will boast a roster of no fewer than 45 tracks for you to wreck at, and since many of them offer multiple configurations, there will actually be more than 100 circuits in total"

 

Online - "TOCA Race Driver 2006 will support up to 21 cars on a track simultaneously, although the number of online players supported by each platform (which has yet to be confirmed) will likely be closer to 16. New online options for TOCA Race Driver 2006 will include practice and qualifying sessions before each race, as well as a spectator mode that lets you watch races in progress from the same camera angles used for TV coverage at each circuit"

 

Spectator mode begynner å bli populært, og det er bra, selv om den ikke kan måle seg med Gotham TV enda. (men det er jo en annen konsoll).

Har venta på dette lenge (venter jo enda) :) Men en ting, du sier det kommer 28 Oktober... hvor har du det fra?? Står på codemasters hjemmeside att release er februar 2006?? så bare lurer på hvor du har lest det:)
